K2fly presented twice at the International SAP Mining and Metals Conference 2018 event yesterday.
Nic Pollock and Navin Nirmalrajan led a lunch-time workshop where they presented details of the Infoscope solution and how it provides competitive advantage in the area of stakeholder management. Later in the day, Navin was joined by CEO Brian Miller and they led the audience through the Infoscope implementation at FMG. K2fly was one of only a handful of SAP partners who were allowed to make two presentations during the conference. The K2fly booth has been busy and has generated a lot of interest amongst SAP clients from Australia, Europe and the Americas. SAP Account Executives have accompanied their clients to the K2fly presentations, as well as product demonstrations of the Infoscope system.
Brian Miller commented, “I am pleased that we have developed a pipeline of prospective clients who see value in the Infoscope solution. Interestingly, many of the international miners have zeroed in on Infoscope’s role in stakeholder management, and have seen beyond the standard tenement management functionality. Staff from a major South American mining company spent time at our booth explaining their challenges with being unable to manage environmental and social information in a timely and meaningful manner. It is very early days, but they were relieved and pleased to see that the Infoscope solution was actually being used in anger at a major industry player such as FMG. It was a very encouraging session for the miner, their SAP Account Executive and K2fly. We hope to have similar sessions on the final day of the event”.
