We look forward to hosting the Social License to Operate Workshop at the 2018 International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC). Centred around hands-on case studies using practical experiences, this one day Social License to Operate Workshop will address the critical challenge of earning the right to have a presence of place within a community, faced by both the mining industry and other related industries.
This is a core issue. Gaining regulatory approval for mining projects and developing them is a challenging, time and money intensive process. Without a social license to operate, these investments can be rendered worthless.
This workshop will explore strategies for improving relations between miners and the communities in which they operate.
Limited seats are available – register now at http://www.cvent.com/d/wtqv6p/4W
